Project partners gather at Whitby Street to mark the launch of work for The Business Innovation and Skills centre.
The refurbishment of the former post office building will provide 28 new studios with meeting rooms. Connected by a shared social space, the centre will support creative businesses. Pat Chapman, vice principal at Cleveland College of Art and Design, said The BIS will mean more students will have the opportunity to stay in Hartlepool to launch business instead of having to go elsewhere.
