Group Ginger and ESH Win Scarborough Market Hall and Vaults Refurbishment
Scarborough Borough Council has appointed ESH as the principal contractor with Group Ginger as their Architects to carry out a significant refurbishment project within its existing market at St Helens Square, Scarborough
The works involve a refurbishment of the existing stalls and the construction of a new mezzanine level to create additional retail and new business space.
Initially work is required to evolve the existing consent and work with the council , contractor and professional team to prepare a developed and technical design, the detailed works information and site information
The second stage, is to construct the works. The construction works package is c.£2,000,000 and is to be delivered by summer 2016. Detail design development has been instructed and is due to complete October / November 2015
