A fantastic project which combined with the new gardens will really add to the visitor experience. English Heritage chose Group Ginger, as they wished to explore practices, not on their conservation framework that they felt would explore something different. Its not often that we come second because, "we are a little too adventurous and our ideas just a little too challenging..."

We have assured English heritage that we are very respectful designers and work jointly with our clients to develop proposals that are appropriate and sensitive to them and the context. We are just sorry that we weren't successful and able to join English Heritage in developing the proposals. We wish them all the best with Mount Grace and will watch with interest.

Group Ginger are now registered on the English Heritage Portal and will keep a close eye on any forthcoming tender opportunities.
