The rooftop extension creates a large usable and flexible space which serves the auditorium adjacent or can act independently. The facade of the extension has been developed through the theme of celebrating activity. The combination of louvres and openable glazing creates an ‘active front’ which relates visually to the adjacent St Peters Square. The scheme incorporates a new lounge bar and kitchen facilities with an active and expressive extension.
